Our hydroponic systems have been tested over and over again using real cannabis plants, grown by real people.
Please reach us at support@solaris.garden if you cannot find an answer to your question.
There are two main things to look for when determining if your cannabis flower is ready for harvesting.
1# Buds are ready when the pistol hairs are darkened and curled in.
2# Use a magnifying glass to get a close look at the trichomes. If they are clear, they need a little more time, if they are milky white they are ready to harvest an typically contain the highest amount of THC during this time, and if the trichomes are amber in color they will be less potent, as they are over matured.

We recommend growing Autoflowers, especially for beginners.

Always research your specific state laws before growing cannabis at home.

We recommend using nutrients from General Hydroponics.
Check out our Supplies & Resources page for links to nutrients, growing mediums, and more.
Too much nutrients in the water can lead to "burnt" looking leaf tips. Here is how to fix it - https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/nutrient-burn
Using a grow tent is not necessary for a successful harvest.
However, if you would like to better control the temperature and humidity around the plant, a grow tent can be very beneficial. Maintaining the appropriate growing conditions consistently, for cannabis plants, will benefit the over success of your crop and harvest.
No previous hydroponic experience is needed to begin growing your first successful crop of cannabis.
Our Cannabis Grow Guide covers each week step by step. Check out our Grow Guides page.
